Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, participated in the Run for Cancer, which is a means to encourage people more concerned about disease and cancer patients.

It's a motivation for them to fight and recover from cancer

Based on Beritajakarta.id, Sandi along with hundreds of participants took a distance of about five kilometers, starting from Park and Ride Thamrin 10 leads to HI Roundabout and turns to Arjuna Wijaya Statue, then turns back towards Park and Ride Thamrin 10.

He stated that the event undertaken by one of these private universities is a form of raising awareness to the residents about cancer and concern for the patients.

"Today, through this event, we will increase awareness. This is because, through the early detection of cancer, its handling can be more effective 20 to 30 percent," he expressed, at Park and Ride Thamrin 10, Central Jakarta, Sunday (3/8).

"I want to show concern to cancer patients, especially those who undergo chemotherapy. It's a motivation for them to fight and recover from cancer," he explained.

It was also held to campaign healthy lifestyle through exercise routine and maintaining diet.

"We really support and express our gratitude to those who have initiated the Run For Cancer, We Can I Can," he said.
